Blea Tarn Sunrise, Lake District

Blea Tarn

The boulders of Blea Tarn has seen many tripods. This arrangement of boulders is my favourite, with it’s tessellating shapes.

Getting low gave a chance to posting them as a big clump and dial up their textures surface.

The weather forecast was shocking, but bad weather = interesting light; sunrise punched through the breaks in the cloud of the squall casting pink and mauve across the Langdales.
