Riven shards of waste slate covered in lichen lie on Dinorwic Quarry's Australia Level.
I was drawn to both the right angular blocks of stone and the heavy lichen stains. It’s grey and blue hues enhanced by the tremendous downpour that was lashing the quarry at the time
