The maw

A narrow tongue of rock juts out into the Atlantic along the Acadian coastline in Maine.

Dramatic drop offs flank either side leading to inaccessible coves where the surf booms.

This overlook is not officially on the National Park maps, and took some finding, for good reason, the 'ledge' itself is very narrow - a tripod's stance is all that separates you from the void..
