Nestled deep in long abandoned pit within the Dinowric quarry complex resides this youthful birch
Miraculously clinging onto the sheer hand hewn walls, it reaches out to the light above it. RIch in autumn colour, the tree stood out amongst the slate grey spoil heap and vertical walls of this deep narrow pit.
