I’d previously shot Pedn Vounder from above many Autumns ago, this was my first venture to the base of the cliffs.
The sand was pristine. The only marks across the beach’s entire length were these wave cut rivulets around the rock’s base, which instantly drew my eye.
The pre-dawn light meant a 120s exposure creating mirror-like-water, which added to the serenity. By the time the sun rose, the tide rolled in high swallowing up the beach and the blue hour cloud burned away. The scene was gone.
