Despite appearances, this was a far from calm Winter's morning at Porth Nanven in Cornwall’s Cot Valley.
Having visited this cove several times before, I had the mind to visit this part of the beach at sunrise.
The results were surprisingly unexpected. The beaches' boulders, usually far more prominent, were concealed by sand and their arrangement reminded me of zen gardens. The dull skies, usually photographically 'boring' provided a flat-purple cast that seemed to add to the serenity.
