On granite shores
I’m continually drawn to the features that dominate the coastal path around Porthcurno.
Thick groves of gorse, interspersed with the colourful clumps of grasses on autumn turn, the giant granite boulders covered with lichen.
Having found this group of rocks to compose around, the rainstorm began to clear, giving way to glints of colour from sunrise
Often the worst weather yields the best light and the weather in Cornwall is very inclement; but catch it on the turn and it reveals wonderful colour and mood.
