A bleak, blustery autumn morning at Ullswater’s infamous boathouse.
The lake was insanely high, affording a vantage point i’d not seen on previous visits. Lowe with the three wet boulders and gaps in the reds as lead ins, i worked to nestle the boathouse amongst the popping autumn trees.
A passing break in the cloud illuminated the water around the boathouse, temporarily breaking the gloom.
