Virgin Cascades
The Kolob Terraces tower heavenward at over a thousand feet above you as you wade through Left Fork Creek.
The walls begin to progressively narrow and take a series of horseshoe-like bends, whose twists and turns bounce low morning light around the sandstone canyon walls.
The reflected light here providing subtle colours and a perfect contrast to the cool blue hues of the creek waters which tumbled over this set of cascades.
